Microsoft updated AdCenter with some new features recently; the most important ones are the ability to measure tablet traffic using Microsoft Advertising Intelligence and creating more ads for each ad group.

Microsoft has been diligently working for the last few months to match features in Google Adwords and make it more convenient for the advertisers to import their current AdWords campaigns into Microsoft AdCenter. With improved desktop Microsoft Advertising Intelligence Excel add-on, advertisers can now find tablet-specific information, which includes keyword performance, traffic, age group, search-user location and gender. This add-on already supports smartphones as well. With this improvement advertisers can have 50 ads per ad group. This change is not for Mobile or Rich Ads, but is limited to search and contextual ads only.

Advertisers who are running ads on search partners, like yahoo and other partner sites, can now list up to 2000 sites compared to 500 sites at the ad group or campaign levels. These changes will be rolled out in AdCenter by the end of this month. The new features will be available in the desktop interface next month. Microsoft is also planning to rollout a new billing screen with a new view of the account summary and a new payment methods tab. The new interface will allow less switching between the tabs to manage the billing summary; initially users will be able to toggle back and forth between the old and new billing screens.DC6JMGSDDAWR
